Our story
Started by somebody who actually wears scrubs.
UNDERS exists because of a small, specific annoyance: you can be told exactly what color to wear, head to toe, for twelve hours at a time.
The uniform is not the problem
Uniforms exist for good reasons. They make people identifiable, they are practical, and in a lot of places they are not optional. None of that is what UNDERS is arguing with.
The argument is narrower than that. If the outer layer is assigned, the layer underneath should not be. That is the whole idea, and it is why this is a brand about sleeves and necklines rather than a brand about scrubs.
Founded by an EMT
UNDERS was started by an EMT. Somebody who has done the long shifts, been handed the color, and knows what a cheap base layer feels like by hour nine.
We will add more of that story here as we are given permission to tell it. We would rather say less and have all of it be true.
